We are excited to announce the staged release of ProjeX Version 3 through May 2017.

In addition to core code improvements, this version offers improvements to:

  • ProjeX dashboard:
The ProjeX dashboard displays a combination of Quality Activities, Audit Reports and SIRs tailored to your user profile.

ProjeX version 3 now displays items that are due beyond a month from the login date, so you can have added visibility into your quality schedule.

  • ProjeX Document Bank
    • Folder Levels:
The Document Bank in ProjeX Version 3 allows document folders to be created at 3 levels. In Version 2, this was limited to 2 levels.
    • Folder Permissions:
You can now enable certain folders within the Version 3 document bank to be restricted to certain user-types.
Please note: You can currently only restrict top-level folders within ProjeX Version 3
    • Favourite Documents:
ProjeX Version 3 allows users to store their favourite documents, which can be accessed simply from the ProjeX Main Menu
    • Document Linkages:
Documents can be linked together in Version 3. This feature is helpful to display related documents without requiring to move away from the current screen. Please see Document Linkages for details
    • Document download report:
Quality Managers can now view the following information related to the download of a certain document from the document bank
      • Downloaded by (User)
      • Download Version
      • Download date and time

  • User-Login Report:
Quality Managers have access to the User-login information broken down on a monthly basis. This report displays the following information:
    • User Name
    • Action (Login/Logout)
    • Time (Server time/NSW)
    • IP Address

  • Risk Tracking:
ProjeX Version 3 now stores Risk measures for Issues and SIRs generated through the system. Please see ProjeX - Risk Management for details.

  • SIR Addressal:
SIRs can now be addressed by the assignee in stages, instead of at the one time as in Version 2. This means that an assignee can add completion evidence over a period of time, rather than having to add All the evidence at the one time and close out the SIR. Once the assignee is assured of having completed all actions, they can close out the SIR by checking the 'Close Out SIR' checkbox. This provides more flexibility for the organisation to manage their SIR-related actions.

  • SIR Reassignment:
SIRs that have once been assigned can now be re-assigned to another user. Quality Managers can use the 'Reassign SIR' button on the SIR Detail page to display a dropdown list of users and a text field for Comments/Special Instructions. Upon submission of this form, both the existing and new assignees get a notification email, along with a Cc to all 'Active' Quality Managers. A log of this reassignment is also timestamped and stored on the SIR Detail page.
